how to hide files
I have some secret data and i dont want to share this data with other persons these person use the same computer which i use.

The only sure way is to keep the files on a CD and NOT on the computer.

If using XP pro you can use EFS.

There are some programs lil PGP that will do that but they are not free.
Really as CCT says dont store them on the computer. Keep them on a cd or flash drive

GNUPG is a free implementation of PGP.
But safest and easiest is indeed to keep files on a memory stick or something.

And the way they keep getting memory sticks larger you do not need cd.
They have one here it is 8 gig. That is a lot of files.
