Creative halts Modded drivers
Wow in a really stupid move on Friday VP Phil O'Shaughnessy issued a veiled threat to Daniel_k about "intellectual property.
Daniel_K is a regular contributor in the Creative Forums and was designing modded drivers for Vista for products that would appear to have been intentionally crippled by Creative in an effort to make users purchase new cards. I thought you might all want to read about and perhaps leave your two cents as I did. Here is a link to the original thread:

Over 2300 people have posted in this thread and when I last checked it was still open. So let them know how you feel whether you think they are wrong or right.
What Creative did was legally within their rights but they did it in such a dumb way. They clearly don't realize the power of the Community or the forums.
