partitioned hard drive
Can win Nt 4.0 support large format hard drives and if so how is it done . If I need to partition a hard drive then what is recommened for a partition so I dont run out of space .

There is a 7.8G limitation if your making it a boot drive and best to stay at that for the rest of it. I just did a 13G HD and made the 1st part. 5G and the rest in the 2nd. Worked great. Ghost from a bootable floppy helped copy files from an old 3.1G to the new one and set up the first partition for me. then into NT to set and format the 2nd one. Good luck!

There is a 7.8G limitation if your making it a boot drive and best to stay at that for the rest of it. I just did a 13G HD and made the 1st part. 5G and the rest in the 2nd. Worked great.
