    Question Spooky Recent Documents

I've got a user who's recent documents folder periodically empties itself. Is there a registry setting that would cause this? I'm not aware of anything that would do this, but I can't find a solution.

Note - He doesn't have tweakui, or anything similar.

    Thanks

Is there any chance someone is using his machine to surf for porn?

Remember this. TweakUI is just a GUI interface to several undocumented registry entries.

The registry setting in this case is:
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\
    Policies\Explorer]
    Value Name: ClearRecentDocsOnExit
    Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
    Value Data: (0 = disable, 1 = enable)

Yeah, I'll take a look to see if anything like this is enabled on his machine. Still, it doesn't empty out all the time...

And get yer head outta the gutter Clam!
