sony vaio pcg-v505cp drivers
hi i need the drivers for sony vaio pcg-v505cp
i have done everything you might think of to get the drivers , i got most of them except the video and sound , please help

im using win xp sp2 and by the way i have used that link many times it didnt help

thank you for your help but i have used that link b4 but didnt help me . im having this pb for over a year now . i need the sound and the graphic card driver . i mannaged to get othee drivers using google . please help me .
if someone here have the recovery disk for this model i pay for it . thank you all for your help

This model is available in the UK... therefore going to Sony UK is the way to get your drivers. Sony do a download of all the preinstalled drivers, and a separate one for the preinstalled utilities.

Sony also do a detection system and will provide the right drivers for you.
The video is a standard radeon 9200. specs for it on amazon uk here

Which link? The Vaio Support link I and now NooNoo have indicated provides all the drivers from the Driver CD, including Yamaha sound and ATI video drivers.
If you really want to purchase a CD, use the link "If your recovery CDs/DVDs are damaged or lost, contact VAIO-Link to obtain a copy" half-way down the page.

hi thank you guys the link that platypus helped me get all the drivers i need except the sound driver , i thank noonoo too for his help.
now i need the sound driver and ill be the happiest women on earth lol
pleaqse help me be one . thanks

What problem did you have with the sound drivers? The ones in that package should be the correct drivers as supplied originally with the unit.

We need exact error messages or good description of the the behaviour of the drivers. Just saying "it's a problem" isn't enough for us to go on. You have to remember we can't see your machine - you have to tell us exactly what happens.

the driver in that link is yamaha but my driver is realteck ac97
i will try to install it again and let you know what message i get
