    No sound.....help please

    Hi,

    I have hp pavilion a312d

    got it formatted and now audio.. no sound is coming.

    also their is a yellow question mark again video controller sign in device manager.

    kindly assist to resolve this problem......Thanks in advance

    Thanks a lot Platypus,

    But I am not aware which drivers I have to choose for audio and video controllers.

    Tried Realtek AC'97 Audio Driver Update but still no sound working.

    Scroll down a bit further and you will find a list for the Original Drivers - try the original audio driver.

    Before you do that though install the chipset drivers from intel first Restart the machine and then try the sound drivers again.

    I have Intel® 845 Chipset Family.....and went to their link

    it has got 12 drivers......which one should I download....I am not aware.

    I linked you directly to the right one - however, from your link you want no 12.

    ooops, noticed my link wasn't the right one... misclick I guess, sorry - you want the chipset drivers which are number 12

    I loaded the board and sound drivers as written and the sound has come back with your kind help. I wish lots of wealth and health for you.

    Still...their is a yellow question mark on video controller. Its like this

    Other devices (Yellow question mark)....than sub folder..video controller (yellow question mark).........Please help resolve this issue also.
