will 6 channel driver work with Realtek AC '97 sound card
Hi there, I was wondering if I can use a 6 channel driver with my realtek AC '97 sound card. what info do I need about the sound card to tell?

Welcome to WinDrivers. Maybe I'm not familiar with this but could you give me some more information? What version of windows are you using? When you say 6 channel do you mean drivers for a 6 channel realtek device? The more information the better we can assist.

Hello there! thats just what I am wondering...I don't know if my realtek is 6 channel how would I find out? and if it were only 2 channel...the 6 channel driver would probably not sound any different right? or work at all?

They are all the same driver. I believe you merely choose your speaker config.
2, 4(Quad),5.1 7.1 etc.
What model number motherboard exactly, and we can tell you what realtek sound card you have.
