Recovering Data
I have a maxtor 160GB IDE drive thats gone dead and wont boot is there anyway I can recover data from it and if so how and what do i have to use?

To what degree is it dead? Doesn't spin up, runs but doesn't appear in BIOS or Windows, etc?

If it isnt being detected in bios then you need a specialty recovery company.
