Installing XP Pro 34 minutes left then it hangs up
Greetings:
My name is Dave from Penticton B C Canada, I have a problem with my g/f computer, it is a MDG Desktop had Vista pre installed, all was fine untill she installed Photoshop Pro after which she had nothing but troubles, so we were reformatting back to XP PRO SP2 well doing install gets to 34 minutes left then stops, time after time, we have tried eveything nothing works, can anyone help me with this. thank you.

So, if you used an XP install disk did a format and started over clean...
Take the install disk you are using and make an exact copy of it and
see if the copy will work.
You can use blindwrite trial for 15 days---->http://www.blindwrite.com/
You could also consider removing add on cards sound ,modem, ect...until
after the install.
Try the above ideas there is a reason for the install to stop at 34 minutes everytime.

Its possible that its hanging up on a vista only piece of hardware.
Street1's suggestion about removing all the cards and turning everything off in the bios till you get the install done is a good idea
