Network card install
Hi, i'm installing two network cards in my NT 4 server. These two cards are the Aopen AON-325 10/100 Mbps Ethernet card and a Cicero 100Base-TX Fast PCI Adapter. The Aopen is that card connected to a cable modem and the other one is connected to the hub. Now, when i install these cards, in the network properties, it shows that i have installed two of each card, when in fact i have only installed two. Why is this? Secondly, When I go to use the internet, everything works fine, however, i frequently get the message that one service has failed to work (DHCP). How is this possible, that when I check my ipconfig in dos, it says it the card has an ip. So again, just in a nutshell :-). My questions are:
1.Why do four network cards install, when i only specified installing two.
2.Why am I getting a DHCP message/Service failure message, when the internet is working fine.
Help would be appreciated!
Thanks.
