You just can't depend on anyone now days

I was hoping to wake up to a world turned to mush.

The Hadron Collider passed it's trial run today without so much as a quiver being felt around the planet.

And somewhere out in the galaxy someone didn't get to utter "I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened"

I think the fear of a singularity event being created is a bit overdone. The amount of energy and force needed to create it is beyond our means currently. Once we master understanding our sun to its fullest extent then we may possibly have the means to create a blackhole. Oh and by the way it's not December 21 of 2012 yet so they have a while to perfect their atomization of the world if they do have any chance of succeeding at that.... Though I doubt that it really would be the cause of the end of the world.
One Script to rule them all.
    One Script to find them.
One Script to bring them all,
    and clean up after itself.
