    D-Link DGE-530T Speed ??

I have a problem Before I bought this adapter I had a DWA-552 Wireless and the speed was Great Speed test Showed 48,000 kbp BUT the problem was I kept getting Disconnected so I Return it and switch to this DGE 530T Which should be the same in speed but its not. I bought 2 Cat6 Ethernet Patch Cables from my computer to my DIR 655 Router from Router to Comcast Modem did speed test Pushing Max 3000 kbp. What happed to all that speed.

At first I was using my standard PC Integrated 10/100 Base-T networking interface But after getting a Taste of gigabyte I wanted more (I Sound Like a Junkie. LoL) So I got a DGE-530T 10/100/1000 Gigabit Desktop PCI Adapter. Then I found out I needed Cat6 Cables so I ordered 2 and here we are.

Ummm... I highly doubt the 48MBps result was correct. You'd probably see that on FIOS, but on cable... not likely. Best I've experienced on cable was some 31MBps and I had OOL with boost at the time...
Maybe the 48MBps was the wireless speed to your router????
    3MBps sounds more like Comcrap....

Yes 48000 on my DWA-552 Wireless and 3000 on my DGE-530T Cable. But what is the cause of this Major slowdown.

I have no idea. Do you think there is a program on my PC thats limiting my speed. Before you ask I have no virus or spyware or malware. so there have to be something else. On my kasperspy network activity shows 15 Establish Connections and 39 open ports could that be the problem. If so how come it never affect the wireless speed ???

OK I've had 4 Comcast Tech come out to check my Internet Speed.
    1. The first one found nothing.
    2. The Second one Change the Arris Modem and Found Nothing
    3. The Third Change the connectors on the wall and attic and Found nothing. He said the connect from comcast station to my modem is perfect so he don't know what's wrong.
    4. The Forth and last one Came today but before he came I hookup my laptop to my setup and the speed was GREAT. And of course he found nothing.

So that mean that there is something in my PC that's Cutting my Speed Below Half. This is my setup from Everest below

You are definitely NOT getting 48M on Comcast, best results from their domain peak around 33M.
Check the speeds on comcast in your area to get an idea of what you can expect

You DON'T GET 48M on Comcast with any boost... If you see 20M you should consider yourself lucky. 48M is the negotiated speed between the card and the router, whatever you get "outside" is a whole different story. It can be as low as 1M or as high as 30M. But 48M - no way. If you insist that you are right - fine, but don't expect any help if you're not willing to accept the facts. Do the speed test and see the real external speed. You can have 48M or 1G to your router, it's not going to make your comcrap experience less crappier.

I get this all the time... people will say I am only getting 36Mbs on my 108 wireless, what's wrong? Nothing... how fast is your internet? 2Mbs... fine, then you have 34Mbs of spare bandwidth!!

The only time this is a problem is when people want to do large file transfers to their home server or whatever... then I suggest moving the wireless client to a better reception area or upgrading the antenna or putting in a wired connection.

I fix the Problem I had no choice but to Reformat my system. By doing that my speed became normal again Speed Test DL 16407 kbps UP 2498 Kbps. So I got a refund on the wireless card and stuck with my Gigabyte Card.
