Normally, lop installs a tool bar in Internet Explorer and generates pop up ads. The tool bar directs you to lots of sponsored and bogus searches. It is very likely to try to install more nasties on your computer. Some virtumondo variants are detected as lop by AVG. I would download and run ComboFix. I really suggest reading the tutorial before you run ComboFix. Let us know how this works for you.

Don't uninstall ANY antivirus while infected or you'll be in a worse condition. Try running the combofix like SL suggested. If you still feel you are infected start the computer in safe mode and try running NOD32s ESET ONLINE SCANNER This will find a good portion of any viral infections that may have been missed by Norton as Norton is shoddy software in my opinion. If AVG did miss something or had an issue chances are the NOD32 scanner will find it.

I have found that alot of times even after antivirus software removes virus, that they will find more copies on subsequent scans in you system restore information. After I clean a system I usually make sure to delete all the restore info.
