    Video Cards w/AV

Can anyone tell me what, if any, video card with A/V in and out will work with NT4 Workstation?

The machine in question will be running NT4 WS, and primary duties will be graphics, desktop publishing, database creation and tracking, etc.

Another question, to sneak it in here, does Win98 work well with NT4 Server? If no Video card is available I wonder if I can run Win98 so I can obtain a decent card.

    Thank you.

It is my impression that NT is not multi-media friendly, probably because of the way it manages multi-tasking and the way it abstracts hardware. Many games and multi-media applications perform poorly under NT, if they work at all.

The DVD software for my ATI video card will not run under NT. Serveral of my kid's games will not run under NT. Other games run very slowly.

W98 networks nicely with NT. It might be a better choice for your multi-media needs. There is also BeOS. I have no first hand experience with it, but what I have read indicates that it is probably worth investigation.
