Disable 'Net Send' command?
This may be a little off the wall, but is there any way to disable users from using the 'Net Send' command to other users? One of our "Knows enough to be dangerous" users keeps telling other users about this feature and I want to nip it in the bud before it gets out of hand. Thanks.

You could Goto Control Panel->Services and change Messenger to "manual" or "disabled" startup type.
OR
IF NTFS you could set rights so that NET command can only be used by System and Administrator denying it to the regular user.

You can disable this and other services on all of the NT PC's through server manager for domains. If you’re user ID has admin rights to the PC’s, (Domain Admins are the shoe-in), in Srvmgr.exe, select the PC, then go to the "computer" menu, then "services". You would never have to get up from your desk, provided that all of these PC’s show up in the manager. Remember to go to “View/all” to see all members of the domain, and the PC’s need to be on line to perform this task. Also, these users should have basic user rights to the PC. If this guy is smart enough, and has power user or better, he will figure out how to restart the service eventually...
