Red face NT4 WS Setup, Network Headaches

Ok. We just got a NT4 Workstation computer at work, its mine so I have to set it up. At this point, everyone else on the LAN can see me - but I cannot see the LAN at all.

On the hub I noticed it says that I am running at 100M vs. 10M that everyone else is running (two Win9x machines and the NT Server).

I guess I am stuck, and from the drivers I found on the net for the NiC - there was no way to change the speed to 10/100 or just 10.

    Yeah, I am a mess. =)

    Any help is appreciated.

Yes those are setup. I have the same setup as the server, basically.

I assume that you have TCP/IP installed since you have DNS. Have you tried pinging different nodes on the LAN? Try yourself first. From the DOS command:

    ping 127.0.0.1

    Then try other IP addresses.

    What results do you get?

Strange things happen sometimes. Got everything worked out - the NiC was stuck at 100M ... our network is only running at 10M. As soon as I got the correct software for the card .. Bwam! .. Peachy. =)
