SIC Resources, a now dead company, also had a line of sound cards called "Super Sound Origins." Are you sure your card is of Diamond manufacture?

If your card is a SIC, then it looks there are no NT drivers available for it. DriverGuy has a page which has drivers for DOS/Win31/Win95:

If the card is an SIC item, chances are good that it has a generic chip set, probably Opti. And the Opti NT4 drivers work OK with the few SIC/Opti cards I have seen. Also there are NT 3.51 drivers in some of the SIC driver packages here on this site, although they are not listed as being there.

The moral of the story is: If it ain't on the HCL, don't waste your time with it. NT is just too damn picky. This is not really a bad thing, it contributes to system stability. But it can really cause headaches too.
