PSW.Ldpincd.VKM is this a real virus
I ran AVG 8 .
It found PSW.Ldpincd.VKM in some exe files from a well known software
company.
It flagged the files as trojans.
Is this a real trojan.

What well known software company?
are you sure about the name?
could it have been ldpinch instead of ldpincd and *.vm instead of vkm?

Yep..they are a reliable company. I find no mention of this file anywhere on the web, including the AVG website. I also don't find a vkm file extension. The PSW prefix is associated with quite a few trojans though. This could be either the real thing with a new file name, or a false positive. I'd try scanning with some other products to narrow it down..maybe Malwarebytes and Hijack This

travistee, do you possibly mean ldpinch? That's certainly a real Trojan. I'd still run some additional scans, but it certainly looks as though you have some genuine malware.
