Laptop Wireless Setup Requirements
I just bought a Dell with 802.11g wireless and am about to order a Linksys WRT54GL 802.11g router. I want to link that router to my existing router since I only have a single LAN cable from the modem (we already have 2 desktops on that router).
Can I get a few pointers here and is there something else in hardware I need?
thx
edit: or are there conventional ports on the back of those I can use, in which case this is accademic

The Linksys router you are thinking of getting has the wireless and 4 standard wired ports as well. You won't need to use your other router at all

Thanks geoscomp - router is ordered soonest!

I got one from British Columbia shipped here to Ontario for 72.$C all in.
I know I could have used just the G model, but I have thought of tinkering with Linux next winter.
