'i hve report but i m not able to send it error occurs by saying that too many characters short it'
Yes, because you did NOT follow my instructions ' Click on file, preferences, report and uncheck the 'include debug information in the report' box. People rarely want to see that stuff.'
So, you end up posting all that debug crap!
Anyway, your report shows you have a 2Wire Gateway USB (10.0.0.1) ethernet adapter and an internal telephone modem. It does not show any other NIC.
What make/model of adapter is that?
Did it work previosuly?
Have you installed any new software recently or re-installed your OS?
Is it wired/wireless?

Right but the usb one is installed... the intel onboard ethernet controller is not
So what is the actual problem here? You can't get to the internet?

ethernet is a form of connection.
the usb uses the ethernet protocols... hence the confusion
So exactly what is the problem? You can't get to the internet? You can't connect to your wireless provider? If you can get to the internet, then the wireless is working - it's just the icon that isn't.
Please post exactly what the symptoms are.

Two things:
1 - the D865GBFL has 10/100 ethernet, the D865GBF does NOT!
2 - the 2 Wire XP instructions; http://support.2wire.com/?page=view&article=224

I am uncertain as to what help you want.
If the onboard NIC isn't diplayed in the Main Everest page, I would think it is either disabled or the drivers are not loaded. Did you want to use it? Are there any error/problem flags im Device Manager?
As to the Bigpond adapter - I get mixed info. Is that a USB etehernet adapter or a USB modem?

Sorry Simon, you are the one sitting in front of the computer, unless you can communicate to us clearly what the problem is, we can't help much...
I mean look at what you wrote
when i put the wire of ethernet net stops to work
Which wire... where did you connect it? Does the internet stop working, or your own network?
Please state what the problem is.
Does the internet work? Yes or No?
