    Saving Power Point

Is there a way to save a power point presentation so that a user could not edit it?

Yes, print it as a pdf file or as an xps file and supply it with the xps viewer which is free from Microsoft.. If you have office 2007 printing to pdf is available, although you may need to download a plugin.

Or save it as a .pps and it will show up as a show if you click on it.

The problem of converting to pdf file is that I lost the animation in the pdf file.

PPS file is for opening the presentaion by clicking on the file. It does not offer protection.

The link you provided is rich of ways to protect the presentation. I experienced the defficiencies of some of the method described on that page. I might have to opt for PrexGard pro.

At first quick look it is mostly about Power Point 2007 and 2003. Mine is 2000 professional. I will try to image option and see.
