If you are using
System Memory 768 MB (DDR SDRAM)
That is mostl likely 1 512 and 1 256 or 3 256
Either way try running just 1 stick and do 1 of the tasks

Hello luiggi13: There's no point telling Ferrit you only have 512 ram when the data you posted originally says 768.
Regardless, it appears you may have a HP Compaq - if so, read this to help you determione what specific unit you have so you can get the drivers you need (if not a HP Compaq, try to identify what it is);

Download and run Everest Home (it is free):
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4181.html
Once you download it, click on it and let it install and then run it from the icon on your desktop. Click on file, preferences, report and uncheck the 'include debug information in the report' box. People rarely want to see that stuff.
Click on the + sign beside 'Computer', then on 'Summary', then go to the VERY Top of the screen and click on 'report'.
Note: the 'Very Top' isn't one line down, it means what it says.
Cursor over 'quick report-summary' and then click on 'plain text' and then click on 'save to file' and change the 'save in' folder to 'Desktop' and then click 'Save'.
Clear all your open windows and on the Desktop click on that 'report.txt' icon - this will open it in a text editor (probably Notepad) and then copy and paste it to here.
NOTE: we DO NOT WANT all the DEBUG stuff - please read and follow the directions given

No real mobo info there - you can open the side case if it's a desktop and CAREFULLY look for any identifiers -
Try one/all of these methods also;
http://articles.techrepublic.com.com...1-1041092.html
http://www.pcnineoneone.com/howto/moboid1.html
http://www.computercraft.com/docs/mbid.shtml
While you are researching, run Everest again and make a note of the temperatures and voltages under Computer, Sensor and report those also.
