Priceless, Noo! I can think of a few more videos I'd like to see that done to as well.

So after being groomsman at a wedding 2 nights ago we heard a song that made my girlfriend remember the worst love song she ever heard. I'm now watching the video because she wants me to share the experience of it being horrible. While it's still playing I decided to share with the rest of you Enjoy

Noo, Niclo, definitely a pair of groaners there!. Niclo, I hope you didn't have to suffer through The Wind Beneath My Wings at the wedding at least.

Anyway, moving along to other things, I'm listening to Derek Trucks right now. And, I brought some samples. From Amazon, a video and some clips from the album I'm playing. From YouTube, a nice video of Trucks and Susan Tedeschi (sans guitar, unfortunately) and just Trucks and the band.

Once again entering the realm of the tasteless, I think this video in the style of the old Buffalax Girly Man video is worth a look. This may not be suitable for work. Some of the humor is sexist, sophmoric, and even stupid. But I really like the music. and the woman in the video is just so hot. Anyway, it's not like I'm going to tarnish my reputation for good taste, professionalism, and restraint. So, here it is.

Since you're not a guy, I'm going to assume "ugh" isn't meant in a good way. I guess that means that a carefully considered philosophical discussion of condiment usage is right out, too. big sigh

Anyway, I'm currently listening to Shawn Colvin's These Four Walls. Certainly her best work since Steady On and Fat City.

Diamond in the Rough is still one my favorite songs. Rotten "music video", good audio. I suggest you listen with your eyes closed. Unfortunately, I can't find a decent clip of Riding Shotgun Down the Avalanche. Still my favorite Colvin song.

I just finished listening to Stevie Nicks on PBS's Sound Stage. What impressed me is how good Waddy Wachtel still is. Wachtel has always seemed paradoxical to me; famous, yet under-apppreciated and under-rated.

Anyway, now, I'm listening to Pink Anderson, a mostly overlooked bluesman who played killer guitar. His low key vocals meshed perfectly with his instrumental style. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXdkUahBoSI

No, luckily I didn't have to endure that one. However while watching NooNoos link with the literals renditions I wanted to add this one that was linked in it since I got a good kick out of it. White Wedding

Thanks, folks. If it wasn't for this thread I would not have looked up some old favorites, who became lost after the death of vinyl...

Thanks! I particularly like the contrast between the early Larry and grown up Larry. I think Coryell used to let his technical ability outrun his taste way too often. Listening to Greensleeves, I'm torn between "What an arrangement!" and "WTF!!"

But, since we're listening to Coryell and DiMeola, can we ignore John McLaughlin? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOVWq...eature=related
