login with the administrator account and try again.
For some files try the pagedefrag utility from Sysinternals http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb897426.aspx

Movies I move to another drive, finish the degrag and then copy them back... they tend to go back in one piece then.
Restore files and page files and recycle bin... I turn them off, run a defrag and turn them back on again... only works on page files if you have at least 512mb ram.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Recycle bin you right click, properties, slide the slider all the way to 0% for both drives and for good measure, check the box to delete files directly.
System restore you right click my computer, properties, system restore tab, and disable it there by checking the box.
Page file, my computer, properties, advanced tab, performance settings button, advanced tab, virtual memory change button, set no paging file for both drives
But be warned, your computer, if it doesn't have enough free ram will not boot or may be unstable with the paging file off.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

IMO you're overthinking it.
Started out:
"Total fragmented files = 1,501"
Now:
"Total fragmented files = 2"
That's perfectly fine. Overemphasis of defragmentation can actually be counterproductive. You can waste a lot of time achieving very little, which is pointless, as the basic purpose of defragmenting is to save time.
And with an NTFS file system, overdoing defragmentation can even reduce performance, as some fragmentation can be beneficial in certain circumstances.

run chkdsk c: /f /r from a cmd prompt first, then try the defrag process again.

Only 2 files? Have you checked which files? Often they are large video files - move them to an external drive, defrag and move them back again.
