Unhappy I lost my D: hard drive icon

I was deleting some un-use icon from my laptop last week. when I open my computer I reaized that my D: drive icon is gone. The problem is I can't remember what things I've deleted.
I don't have my windows 98 CD installer with me.
although i still can access my files in D: drive but I want the icon back..it's my sister's laptop and she'll be mad at me if she know that
    anybody can help me?????

    thx!

    Welcome to Windrivers purpledaffodil

You can rebuild the icons - You need to find the hidden file called
    C:\Windows\ShellIconCache

To display hidden files in Windows 98, click Folder Options on the View menu in Windows Explorer or in my computer, click the View tab, click Show All Files, and then click OK.

Now you can go to the Windows folder and look for the shelliconcache file, delete it and restart your computer. The icons will be rebuilt.
