    G. Skill Memory Ram ??

    4GB to 8GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM 800MHZ (PC2 6400)

Is G. Skill a Good and Reliable Brand and Memory I was considering this brand of memory for the price but almost every review talked about Memory arriving DOA.

The consideration I would give is the RMA cost.

If one brand, slightly cheaper, has a greater 'DoA' incidence rate, then the savings buying it get eaten up quickly if YOU have to pay the RMA charges.

Other than that, there are only a few companies actually making the chips.
