Blocking google from bringing up a page
I thought I had the straightened out but I guess not because google now brings up the wrong page again. What I did a while back was to upload a text file to my host where all my files are stored:
User-Agent: *
Disallow: /testimonials.html/
Disallow: /RatesEstimates.html/
Disallow: /images/
and that is all I have done do I need to do more like add something to my html? I want my home page to pop up instead.
I seem to remember a while back a support tech telling me my site was located in the wrong place and it says the robot.txt file needs to be located in the root folder so I'm trying to fix this because I can't bring up my text file by typing it into the address bar like I can others.

Worst part about this is I was on the first page of goole right where I want to be but I wanted to spruce up the site a little and now I'm off the darn chart. I try to keep my site ad free and simple. I'm by far a website builder but I think it looks OK.
