    No 3d acceleration after reformatting

So, I recently reformatted my computer. I was poking around to make sure things were working properly and I found in the DirectX diagnostic tool that I had no Direct3D functionality. Or AGP texture acceleration. It's telling me i'm using the generic video driver. Now, i'm not sure what video driver to install.

    I have:

3D Accelerator nVIDIA GeForce FX 5500
    3D Accelerator Intel Extreme Graphics
Video Adapter Intel(R) 82845G Graphics Controller (64 MB)

Thats what it says for display in EVEREST corporate adition. I was wondering if anyone could help me?

You won't get acceleration until you install drivers for the accelerator/vid chip.

Go to the motherboard site and get your drivers http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intel845g/ OR, if you added that 5500, to nVidia site and get what you need for the 5500 and whatever OS you use http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_169.21_whql.html .

Crazy talk! Two displays? Next you'll suggest multiple hard drives or dual booting OSes!

Onboard graphics has not been disabled, hence the reason for seeing two graphics cards. I would recommend disabling the onboard has almost any add-on is better then integrated graphics.
