Whatever people post in any bulletin board, chatroom, etc, I cannot think of ONE topic in which EVERYONE agrees on!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that I have instigated a near riot by stating my findings of Win98se, but I will stand by my guns on the fact that it is not worth paying the extra for a cuple of supposed bug fixex & the updates that 99.9% of users who have the net have already installed.

I agree that if used correctly Linux is moire stable than any variant of windows, but it can be as buggy as any Microsoft product if the kernel is not compiled right. If you look at how many service packs are released in a year for NT & how many updates/upgrades for Linux are released then Linux ( to the unknowledged eye would seem the buggier ).

If Linux or other O/S's where as ' User Friendly ' as Windows is, then I for one, would be the first in the queue.

As you might have seen in the SE forum, I have revoked a few of my statements, but I still stand firm on my comments that Win98SE is just Win98 with IE5 & the updates ( with other bugs / features ) built in.

I agree also , that Hardware is a major factor in stability & it disgusts me when people tell someone that they are using crap comonents when they don't know what they are using????!!!!!!!

I haven't posted a complete spec of my stsem due to the fact that everybody would think I was boasting ( just like when I defended myself againest Hav0c when I stated my qualifications ).

As for the spelling debate, if I mistype a few letters when I am typing at extreme speed without looking at the keyboard, I am being basically called a retard. This is coming from someone who can't even spell their own name correctly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well if in future people want me to keep my findings & opinions to myself then I will, and let all the losers post flames & crap advice to the people who need the kind of postings that I and other genuine people post.

As for the Apple comment, each to their own. I myself, cannot personally stand Apple systems, I have found them to be slower ( personal opinions don't forget, before I get all the flame mail again ) than an equivalent PC.

Oh , for all you people out there who think I run Windrivers with Scott the DriverGuy, sorry but I don't , but I do put a lot of time into these forums and do notify Scott of new drivers from time 2 time.
