Do I Delete the Installed Backup of SP3?

I got XP Pro, SP3. I upgraded to SP3 today. In the process, I got a message stating the following:

"Setup creates a backup of system files so you can uninstall the service pack if necessary."

Now, just to make sure, is it ok to delete this backup file?

koolx, wait a week or two. If no problems, make it so!

I say this based on your determination to 'free up' space. If you are short on HD space, then so be it.
