    corrupt volume

    Hi, I use disk password protection, but when I last unlocked my partitions, the volumes are corrupted, I know the data is still on them, are their any tools to repair partition, to save going down the recovery route?

    What windows?
    What hardware?
    What data/ Pics?Docs?Software?Music?
    All the partitions on the same harddrive?
    Have you run chkdsk /r ?
