THAT WORKED!
Hey Niclo, if I am ever in Pittsburgh (is that where you're from? GO STEELERS) I'll buy you lunch. Or if you are NE Arkansas, same thing.
Thank you!

Yeah I'm in Pittsburgh However my significant others relatives live in Arkansas not to mention I did live in Oklahoma and tend to pass through your area on the way there. I am glad it all worked for you. If you have any other problems refer to what I just posted below.
OK I found some stuff on another forum
:::QUOTED FROM YiChun Chen @ http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/For...2896a020f0a:::
- Try to clean your "%temp%" folder (Start Menu >> Run >> Type "%temp%")
- Install .NET Framework 4.0 offline installer
(The installer must be run with administrator privileges - Right-click the installer >> "Run as Administrator")

Reason: Issue resolved before posting
One Script to rule them all.
One Script to find them.
One Script to bring them all,
and clean up after itself.

I installed .net 4, and it re-installed the 958488 update automatically. Removed it again.
Also, I'll have to keep update #982526 unchecked, or it (958488) comes back...

So far nothing indicates that the hotfix will always break however it is more prudent to just go your route and leave the update for .net 4.0 alone until a later date where it may have better stability.
