Whole disc encryption
Does anyone know of a good alternative to PGP whole disc encryption?
Its for laptops with sensitive data on. Encryption/decryption needs to be quick.
Cheers.

I would stay away and try to secure the data in different ways (encrypted folders). If the disk gets corrupted you may end up unable to read at all.

The decryption/encryption needs to be quick and easy.
The laptop has our customers' client details on. Very sensitive data. He needs to know that if it gets nicked, access to data is virtually impossible.

Encrypted folders are transparent for the user. Resetting password by third party renders the files unreadable.
