OK
First on a separate computer download Combofix and Malwarebytes
Here
http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebyte...=dl&tag=button
and
http://www.combofix.org/downloadlink.php
Then put them on a memory stick or a CD
Then boot the pc to safemode with networking.
Then install them from the stick/cd
Run them

You need to turn off System Restore before you start this

Vista antivirus 2012 is running in safe mode. When i try to turn off system restore through system properties the antivirus window pops up. I can't run the software to remove it. How do i shut it off in safe mode? Happy holidays

Msconfig may allow you to stop it from loading I am not sure.
Otherwise your going to have to pull the drive out of the laptop and connect it to another comptur and scan it like that

Another thought: Start, Run, and then type services.msc and see if that will allow you to turn off the service there. I usually do as Ferrit suggests and hook it to a spare computer that I use eclusively for that purpose. Good luck!
