Running program in xp mode
I have installed an old version of microsoft money 2002, that I have been using for some time in other versions of windows, in xp mode on a windows 7 machine. It installed and opened my file account but will not allow me to enter transactions into the register or import data into the register. I have reinstalled the program a number of times with the same result. There is no support for this program so I am looking here

Did a search on Google forwindri, according to Microsoft forum, here is one answer:
"Install Money 2002 in Windows 7. You should not need any compatibility option.
Copy your Money data files to My Documents or s sub-folder of that. Do NOT put them in the Money default Program Files area or any data changes will not be saved."

I think.
You need to go to the Money.exe or what ever runs the program.
Then right click it, and choose Run as administrator
That may work
