    Several questions have been asked in the HDD section about really old drives. The best resource I have found is http://www.blue-planet.com/
    They have never failed me in a search for info on an old HDD!

    Great but whenever i need to define a drive i have a BIOS Detection.

    TechRef (and Pocket PCRef) is your friend! It has all sorts of ancient and recent hard drive specs, as far back as the old ST412's!
