I use norton on all 4 of mine,I would never be with out atleast something,I'll bet that all those poeple that do not use or don't like AV apps have not had to deal with an invasion on their pc.If you have enough ram and configure the AV app correctly,then resources should not be a problem.these guys that don't use av apps probably don't back up anything either, or use firewall software.(I use zonealarm pro).oh well,everybody learns sooner or later.
