I am curently thinking to make it into a DHCP/NAT server for the office (7 computers).

Computer config:
Dual PIII 800
ServerSet main board with 64Bit PCI Slot's
Dual channel U160 SCSI Adapter
512Mb PC133 Ram
SCSI system hard drive
Plextor CDRW 8X4X32 SCSI

Do you think it's a OverKill ?

donate it to the local RedCross or a local Fire Department who are always struggling for money yet never make money a condition for helping someone.

buy a whole bunch of raffle tickets and sell the tickets and raffle the computer off to the lucky winner.

that way you get some cash out of it or maybe even more money than what the computer is originally worth

If you're gonna sell it, eBay is the place to get the best current value for it. I work in a Computer Renaissance and I'll be honest in telling you you couldn't get half of it's market value from us. Such a machine would be unsellable used in our store. However, over the Internet you've got a much wider selection of people looking for that sort of thing.

If it belongs to your company, you might be
able to score points with the boss by giving
the computer to a school or charity, which
your company can then claim as a 'charitable
donation' and get tax credit for it.

Maybe...

Or, you could just gimme.

// Would you like your computer in the
// smoking, or the non-smoking section?

Set it up as a spam server and continually send spam to that congressman who was insisting that spammers have a first amendment right to freedom of speech.
