    Post "These computers are stupid"

    If I hear this one more time, I think I will just absolutly scream. There is nothing I hate more than when someone says these sort of things, usually right after they ask me for help.

    Why do you think this is?

    I wouldn't say those sort of things during a brake inspection on my car... Or during a dental appointment...

    Tech God he say - "The user must be more intelligent than the machine he is trying to operate."

    All computers are stupid, just as all machines are stupid. They are programmed to follow a set of instructions, if the instructions don't exist or are wrong the machine will perform the wrong operation.

    Then it is the tech's fault for not making sure they work....

    Yep thet're stupid. Doesn't have a tenth of the brainpower of the user but the computer somehow often seems brighter in comparison...
