Mech Commander was always one of my favorites. It reminds me a lot of Starcraft, which is one of the coolest. Trying to get some from the wife is also a fairly violent game. hehe.

It doesn't get much more violent than Soldior of fortune! That game gives me nightmeres about killing people. Online it rocks. When you can zoom in on someones head from the top of a tower, and they don't know you are there, you pull the trigger and see the chunks of there brain splattered on the wall behind where they used to be standing, it is so realistic, Sometimes i feel like i am in the game. I also play my share of starcraft, broodwars now, and I played Diablo 2 everyday for the first 2 weeks i had it, once i beet it, I lost interest.

Doom I&II, Final Doom for Win9x, Duke Nukem 3D, Quake. One I haven't seen mentioned here is Blood. Anyone else ever played the undead master of the Tommy Gun? (-; The weapons in Blood are awesome. Sticks of TNT, flame thrower, tommy gun, sawed-off shotgun, all good stuff. Love to frag those undead monks!

starcraft single or multiplayer, nothing like a little infantry slaughter to quench the stressed mind.

When I was playing games, it had to be KingPin. Top notch blood FPS with a banging soundtrack to go with it.
