surprisingly I find myself agreeing with Lycia.

I start reading your orignial post CMT, and see that you went to the monroeville show. My initial thought is "Hey cool, someone from windrviers is actually from around the same area as me COOL!

Then after reading your post entirely, and more specifically the comment both I and Lycia quoted, my impression changed. I don't want to be from the same general area as you. I wouldn't want to be associated in anyway with someone who throws out racist remarks in a public forum and thinks they are funny.

I'm sad for you that you harbor that kind of anger towards people who are different than you. And perhaps even sadder that you don't have enough common sense to know when NOT to spout off Racist remarks (i.e. A public forum.)

Hell, tell it like it is. I've always gone by the theory I say what I mean and mean what I say. If you don't like that, go find someone else to talk to.

I hate those shows...customers come in
them : hey do you know about the computer show this week?
Me : no, I hate those shows.
them : well, they've got really good deals there, you can get blah blah blah for blah blah, you're selling it for blah blah.
Me : yep. Mine's in a retail box with a warrante, and its name brand (like plextor?), yours won't.

Anyway, I found one very very good use for that show...when they come to town, I have a friend of mine pick up 100 cat5 ends for 13 bucks. Other than that, screw it!!

DUDE, Fubarian you are so right.

THEM: "Hey I got this item, at the show for $99.00"

ME: "But we sell that for $100.00 with a warantee and you don't have to spend $9.00 to get into the show."

Our show in Marietta is pretty good. It's basically a lot of the local shops getting together in one place (cobb civic ctr)for a weekend every other month. I love this cuz it saves me the gas and traffic or ridin to everyones stores to see what they have and their prices. Theres some junk there as well, but for the most part it's good, new, legal parts. Also it's easier to haggle when someone at the next booth has the same item you're interested in. Try that in a retail store.....

I was talking to a vendor at a computer show once about how i had some old hardware from an old pc and windows couldn't figure out what it was and I couldn't use it, adn he suggested trying windrivers. I did and it worked. I am here because of windrivers. Also, when i visited the site way back when (three years ago of so) there was an article on the first page about overclocking. I read it and was interested, and i followed the links to other web pages, like firing squad, toms hardware and sharky extreme. And those sites got me hooked on overclocking and computers as a hobby. I owe my computer literacy to a nice vendor at a computer show who took the time to talk to a skinny 15 year old kid who wasn't buying anything.
So, so busy lately. Oh, where do I start?
