oh plus he does want a DVD-rom drive but a cd-rw drive is not needed.

one of the slower Athlons. something in the 500-650Mhz range. I order alot of components from tigerdirect they have prebuilt systems that are fairly decent, and have a wide variety of parts to choose from. I just built a 600Mhz athlon sytem comprised entirely from tiger parts for $618.89 including 15" monitor and DVD.
