BE6 will not post
Hi All,
A co-worker brought her computer in for me to look at as it will not post. It makes a sound like a Brittish siren. Anyone know what that means?
The Motherboard is an ABIT BE6.
I verified all of the other components work, except the motherboard. To me this machine is displaying all of the signs of a bad flash, but she swears nobody tried to flash the BIOS.
Any ideas?

I don't recall if anything was in PCI Slot3, but the system works now. The problem was really fine dust. My co-worker and her husband are remodeling and doing lots of sanding.
She took it to a real repair shop. The tech there took the computer apart cleaned and tested all of the components) I knew the components worked, as I tested them in a different system, however I didn't clean anything).
So, I learned something new. If a machine will not post and is dusty inside, clean it!
