Strange but true
Friday, we had a customer call...the boss took the call, so this is kind of third-person...
The guy on the other end said, "Hi, this is Bob Bobson (changed). What kind of computer did my wife buy?"
Boss: "Excuse me?"
Bob: "Yeah, we got a computer from you. I wanted to know what kind it was. It says 2165-M35 (something like that) on the front."
Boss: "Excuse me?" (He's not TOO computer savvy, but good enough)
Bob: "It's an Apteva."
Boss: "Well, we haven't sold those here in at LEAST 3 years. Why do you ask?"
Bob: "We've got a class action against IBM."
Boss: "Excuse me?!"
Bob: "They've got crap in the computer!"
Boss: "Excuse me?"
Bob: "Yeah, we're suing 'em for $150. We installed something, an' it said, 'Not enough memory.'"
OK EVERYONE! I HAVE AN IDEA!!!
I'm going to sue Chrylser for $180 because my car ran out of gas! The damned thing, every time I drive it, I have to fill it up with gas! It's costing me a fortune! It's all their fault!

Not only that, but I just found out that when you buy a modem, you have to pay EXTRA for the internet access!
Those ISP's have got me everywhere I turn!

Yep I think I may have dealt with this person or one of their relatives. I feel your pain.

Wild coincidence or what, there was this story of a class action lawsuit regarding IBM Aptiva's on the WinDrivers home page. I can't post the link here because it's too long. Look for a link regarding MWAVE settlement.

CreepingDeath, I simply can not condone your attitude.
Everyone knows that you need to use a 20 pound sledge.

People will sue for any reason. Did you hear that someone is actually sueing the M&M company for 500,000 dollars because when they while they were eating an m&m they bit through their lip. Now come people is it m&m's fault your stupid a-- could not eat right and bit your own lip. And I would like to know exactly were they come up with 500,000 dollars in damages for a whole in your lip. Did they add up all the food and liquids they will lose through the whole while eating from now on. Figure it will cost extra to actually fill themselves up because they will lose some everytime they eat.

Remember that TV comercial featuring cockroaches crawling on your TV?
Some idi0ts sued because they threw objects at the TV to "kill" the roaches and ended up breaking their sets.
now if those were real cockroaches (as in SavagePenguins case) could they sue the TV makers?
