    Thumbs down

I had a pushy dud ask for like $800 for a year of DSL with mucho rebates, but I had to order by 6/2000. coulden't commit, still can't.

@home still complains that it isn't here yet. Before we moved into the apt; agent said that we had High=Speed NOW

I recovered a Kflex, upgraded the Hayes to V.90 & sometimes get 49.3 thruput to 10 something like tonite. up tp 20.3 I've seen it at 50; susteained thruput on Download up to 7k cps.

I'll have to live with it. Juno Gold customer

think i might move house ...........

    Red face

I know what you mean. They get your hopes up and then dash them on the rocks. My ISP offered a great DSL deal during Christmas....free DSL modem, no activation fee, etc. The same monthly rate tht I'm paying for regular service. Needless to say, I jumped on it only to find out that my phone lines or something like that won't allow it. And forget about ATT@home, I read what they require for installation, and there's no way.
