    Thumbs down pc chips 748lmrt + davicom chipset

    i am a computer tech from israel.
    i buy a lot of pc chips boards and i am very satisfied with them.
    few days ago i bought the new 748lmrt with davicom chipset onboard.
    the firm that i buy my boards from sold me this board without the modem moudle and the network cables that connects to the board.
    i had a moudle from another 748 mr board and the modem worked but gave me BSOD on winfax on 4 operating systems i installed.
    is there a problem with the davicom chipset, and thats why they sell the board without the modem moudle and the network cable ?
    i put another modem and it worked fine.

    I just worked on the same board. Modem worked fine, but the lan drivers didn't want to install correctly. It was looking for an .inf file that wasn't on the CD. Maybe you have something in that they don't want to ship the modules if the software isn't correct.
