[RESOLVED] It is now safe to trun your computer off
'How do you turn it of!' came the cry over the phone.
Why? I asked.
When I tell it to shutdown it comes up and tells me that it is now safe to turn my computer off, so I do. Then it starts up again!
Conclusion:
Someone should tell Microsoft about ATX power supplies!

ATX PSU's will only shut themselves off if they are instructed to in the BIOS. Turn of the PM in the BIOS and you have the prementioned scenario. You also get this if your PSU is F@#$£d
