worst i ever did was format a customers HD becasue the service recipt said reinsall windows...to me that meant fresh install. To bad for me, it took us a week to recover the formatted data.

while working on costumers machine - i wanted to ghost the hd for backup, only the HD was fat 16 and the new one 32.
so i decided to only copy the files and do a fresh install.
only thing was to format the new HD before i install it.

or was it supposed to be d:?????
