I have once while at work, I got in a cursing match with a guy over the phone and he showed up at my work and we got into it face to face, he coulda kicked my ***, I'm only 5'10 and 130 pounds, he waited outside my work when I went out for a smoke he just got in his car and left, when he finally picked up his pc he was very polite, either someone backed me up or he just realized how stupid the situation was to this day I dont know what happened.

When I was working as head tech for a retail computer store, I had a "disagreement" with a customer. The customer was making outrageous claims that I cheated him, stole his parts, or something like that. He started to shoutand make threats. I stood there on the sales floor with my arms crossed as one of my salesmen (very large man recently out of the marines ) walked up and stood behind me. The customer quieted down rather quickly and left the store. This is only one of many instances where a customer wanted to kick my a$$.

Flabooble!
I've never had a real problem that I couldn't get around. Most people don't threaten me - I'm not big and strong but I am a big fata$$ so most people kind of stay back a little. Guess being a fatty has it's advantages.

I get a different type of threat. being female and tiny and not ugly has its disadvantages, At first I get treated like an idiot and stood over by guys who think they know more than me and when they realise they don't they think that they have the right to me then. They make sure Glen's not there when they come in to the workshop and I had one guy last week tell me that he would give me sex if I got his computer running again. As if I would want it...... I find some of them get really grabby and touchy and I am always wiggling out of situations. Glen likes it sometimes that guys find me attractive but he protects me when they push their luck. Its very threatening when your there to get a job done and your talking to them person to person but they want more and they make their feelings clear. I have had guys hang around at the shop in the evening and even though I had my car I rang Glen to come and get me. I wish they would see me as a technician and not a toy. Its flattering to be liked but scary when it turns like that. Especially alone in the workshop at 5.30 pm on a dark evening....

Well, I haven't been threatened, of course I'm 6'3" and 265lbs. I did see a customer wip a remote in the store I used to work at though. It flew across the room and just missed another customer by about 2"!!!
Another salesperson had a customer threaten to bring a TV up and throw it through the front window. The salesperson calmly told him that would be fine, but the police would be there waiting on him, and he would still have to make the payments on the TV!!!
People can be such idiots!

Unortunatley it was a weekly basis at one job. I mean everything from death threats to the "i'm going to get you fired idiots" to the idiots that would actualy wait outside for oyu to get off of work. What can I say the only one that I ever took personaly was the threat against my family which oddly eneough the guy while throughing bottles at my car (apparently he had been waighting and drinking) somehow ended up under my car (83 chevy malibu wagon). Of course since the company didn't want any bad publicity no real charges were filed (just drunk and disorderly)
I can win any argument with any computer made yet. Since they really haven't learned to fight back.

Worked in security in a past life. Was threatened many times ... had knives and guns pulled on me. even been cut a couple of times. Off to the hospital for a tetnus shot as a result. But the big one was someone wanting revenge started calling me at home, stalking that sort of thing ... I've since moved and he has a restraining order on him.
