after this service call i had in new orleans, i swore id never eat fast food again. needless to say, i had to see why a register at a Checker's (rally's) wouldnt connect to their nt box. ended up being a cabling problem. it was run from the front walk up windows to a patch panel, from the panel to the hub. so i returned to the shop, called the 3rd party people to ship a cable out.
blah blah blah...got the part, went out to run a patch cable to the hub. it was bad being there the first time for 1 hour. i couldnt even walk w/o fear of slipping on the nastiest, greasiest floor ive ever seen or been on. needless to say, the people at rally's were totally uncooperative. in this pain in the *** process or climbing up greasy step ladders to i could run the cable in the ceiling, i damn near fell like 5 times (due to the grease). well i got to the area where they prepare the food. i asked them to stop temporarily so that i could cover the area so that the food wouldnt get contaminated. talk about disgruntled. they couldnt understand why they needed to stop for like 2 minutes. needless to say, a damn dead rat fell out the ceiling ontop of my "cover" over the food. had i not covered the food, it would have landed on someone's condiments.

after observing the filth and carelessness of workers in fast food joints, i dont think i could ever do a burger joint again. on top of that, for the rest of the day, i reaked of grease and had an oily touch no matter how much i washed my hands.
